Namibia Adventure, Chapter Three

David was having a walk, when a lion started chasing him! David climbed a tree, but the lion stayed at the bottom. Then Horn came along, and scared the lion away. David knew that somebody must have done something very mean to the lion, to make it hate humans. He decided to find the lion and try to help it.

Namibia Adventure, Chapter Two

 David was going fishing. He brought a bow and a few arrows, which he fired at the fish. He caught a Bluefish (a kind of large fish) that was big enough for him to eat for a few days. Once he came home, he dug a cool hole that he he could keep all his food in (usually in the desert, underground is the coolest place, and I have a lot of experience on living in the deser t).                                   A Bluefish

Namibia Adventure, Chapter One

David was having a race between Secretariat and Horn. They were about equally matched, but at the end of the race, Secretariat was a few inches ahead of Horn. Then David saw a Kirk's Dik Dik (a kind of very small deer) and caught it. After a few weeks, it was a pet. David called it Bambi. A Kirk's Dik Dik

David lived in Namibia (a country in southern Africa). He had a pet Namib Desert Horse (rare wild horse, always brown) called Secretariat, after the famous racehorse. He also had a pet white rhino called horn.                                                            Horn   Secretariat

Ethiopian Adventure, Chapter One

 (Sorry for not writing for the past few days. I was sick.) Kofi and Amadi were making a cage for some somali wild asses (wild donkeys) that they hoped to capture. They managed to get a male, a female and a baby.  This is a picture of  the male This is the female and the baby.

Ethiopian Adventure, Introduction

 Kofi and Amadi are etheopians who live in the Bale mountains in ethiopia. About Kofi   Kofi was a tall, strong man. He had a pet Gelada (sometimes called Gelada baboon: a kind of monkey with teeth as large as a leopard) called lion, after his large teeth and his small mane. He had a large spear. About Amadi Amadi was a medium-sized, athletic man. He had a pet Ethiopian wolf (also known as Abyssinian wolf or Ethiopian jackal. Similar in size to a coyote. Red and white) called Ember, after his redish color. He had a bow and arrows.

Arabian Adventure, Chapter Two

Ahmed wet to get Whitey. He was going on a mornimg ride, and wanted to go on it while it was still cool. On his ride, he saw an arabian red fox (kind of fox it is very skinny with big ears), an imperial eagle (large eagle, dark brown with tan head) a sand cat (small cat) and a beautiful lilac breasted roller (bird).
