Yep Desert Diary

Last night, a family called the Johnsons came over for dinner. We swam in our small pool for a while, and then we made a few pizzas. When they were finished cooking, we had dinner. When we had finished, Lily and Brianna (One of their two teenagers) started to cut out a pattern for a dress. At about eight forty-five, I had to go to bed because I felt a little sick. I obviously don't remember anything after that, so that's the end of this post.

Two days ago, we filled up our pool. We couldn't swim in it at first, because my dad had to put chlorine in it, but yesterday, he put the chlorine in. We all got to swim in it with a friend of ours who came over for dinner. We will probably swim in it again today, although we may not because I need to be at my soccer club by five O'clock. I hope we do get to. It's really fun.                                                                  Our Pool

Last week, I started to go to a soccer club here. There are about twenty other kids there, as well as almost five teenagers.  Hope and Felicity (my younger sisters) wanted to go, but there isn't a club for girls, so they're having private lessons. I'm going to the private lessons too.  The two Coaches are Brazilian and Senegalese.  We usually do warm-up exercises for the first twenty-five minutes, and then play games against each other. I'm going to private lessons today, and the day after tomorrow I'm going to an actual lesson. I'm looking forward to it.
