How to Make Pancakes

This is a recipe on how to make Pancakes. I used to be the pancake specialist in our family.

Here are the ingredients.
  • 3 tablespoons of sugar
  • 3 cups of flour
  • 2 teaspoons of salt
  • 3 tablespoons of baking powder
  •  3 eggs
  • 3 cups of milk
  • 2 teaspoons of olive or vegetable oil
Mix the sugar, flour, salt, and baking powder together in a bowl. Then, mix the milk and the eggs in with them. Finally, scoop out a small amount of batter and pour onto a hot pan with melted butter. Flip when they start to bubble. Remove them when ready. Enjoy!

What's your favorite way to make pancakes?

  1. Mmm I miss pancakes! I haven't had them in a long time. I will need to try your recipe! Why did you "used" to be the pancake specialist? Are you still the pancake specialist, or has somebody else stolen that title? Wouldn't it be fun to have a competition to see who makes the best pancakes (Simba can be the judge!)? -Abigail

  2. Your recipe looks delicious! I have a question for you...IS that too much salt or does it taste just right? I wil have to try this sometime. Sometimes Ezra makes waffles. He woudld like this recipe. Love, Grandma

Galapagos Adventure, Introduction

Peter was going on a trip to the Galapagos islands (a group of islands about 2,600 miles away from America, famous for having many animals on it that only live there, such as the Galapagos tortoise and the Marine iguana). One night, he woke up in the midde of a storm, with his boat sinking! The boat didn't have any lifeboats, so Peter grabbed a gun, bullets, gunpowder and a bag of corn, threw a barrel overboard, dived in after it, and swam to one of the Galapagos islands that was nearby, resting on the barrel when he was tired. Unluckily, it was uninhabited (nobody lived on it), but he at least survived the storm. Two and a half years later, he lived in a large cave, had a pet Galapagos hawk (a large, brown hawk breed. The main predator of the Galapagos islands) called Flyer and owned a large cornfield. Galapagos Hawk

Going Sailing

Last holiday my family & I went sailing. First we got on a small boat, and then sailed to a bigger one, which we sailed on for about an hour. I got a weird feeling that I sometimes get on airplanes when the boat went over the waves. I hope we go again sometime!
