Ninja Journey, Chapter Four

Chapter Four

They traveled for about an hour, then stopped and went to look for food. Luke found some sugarcane growing by a stream, so he stopped and picked some. Also, Michael managed to shoot a red panda, and John found a apple tree covered with apples. They brought their finds to Peter, who they had left to guard the camp. He cooked the meat, and then striped the tough outside of the sugarcane, then cooked the inside to make sugar, then he roasted the apples with it. After that, they traveled until about 9:00. Peter, who was tracking, pointed to the tracks. "They're close. Only about an hour ahead of us," he said. "If they keep on traveling we should catch up to them in about two hours." A while later, they all heard something ahead of them. They crept up on whatever it was, and saw that it was a group of about twenty samurai, all carrying swords. Suddenly, the Samurai leader came out of a tent, carrying his sword and wearing the Wizard master's crown. "Lets steal it back!" Luke whispered. The other Ninjas agreed with him, and they waited until the Samurai fell asleep, and then sneaked into the leaders tent. They stole the crown back, and crept out of the camp. When they were far away, Peter stood up an said, "come on everybody, lets go home!"

  1. WOW! How exciting! I especially like the information regarding their food. Imagine having roasted apples with sugar while in the wilderness! What a treat to have with their meat. I can't believe they stole the crown! I wonder what will happen next! Thanks! Love, Grandma

Galapagos Adventure, Introduction

Peter was going on a trip to the Galapagos islands (a group of islands about 2,600 miles away from America, famous for having many animals on it that only live there, such as the Galapagos tortoise and the Marine iguana). One night, he woke up in the midde of a storm, with his boat sinking! The boat didn't have any lifeboats, so Peter grabbed a gun, bullets, gunpowder and a bag of corn, threw a barrel overboard, dived in after it, and swam to one of the Galapagos islands that was nearby, resting on the barrel when he was tired. Unluckily, it was uninhabited (nobody lived on it), but he at least survived the storm. Two and a half years later, he lived in a large cave, had a pet Galapagos hawk (a large, brown hawk breed. The main predator of the Galapagos islands) called Flyer and owned a large cornfield. Galapagos Hawk

Going Sailing

Last holiday my family & I went sailing. First we got on a small boat, and then sailed to a bigger one, which we sailed on for about an hour. I got a weird feeling that I sometimes get on airplanes when the boat went over the waves. I hope we go again sometime!
