The Knight in the Castle, Chapter Three

Chapter Three

As soon as Simon heard the command, he charged forward with the other knights. When they reached the other army, Simon started hacking at the enemy. He knew that he he might get killed during the fight, but that didn't scare him. They were winning, and Simon suddenly saw one of the generals from the other side escaping. He galloped after him (actually, his destrier galloped and Simon was on him), and slew him with a single swipe. When he turned around, the battle was over and they had won. They were free!

The End

  1. Congratulations to Simon! I have a question. What does it mean when you wrote, "Simon started hacking at the enemy?" I guess it worked if he won, but I have gruesome images. ;( Thanks for your stories! Love, Grandma

    1. Yes, I have twice. Once I actually rode it, the other time I just sat on it.

Galapagos Adventure, Introduction

Peter was going on a trip to the Galapagos islands (a group of islands about 2,600 miles away from America, famous for having many animals on it that only live there, such as the Galapagos tortoise and the Marine iguana). One night, he woke up in the midde of a storm, with his boat sinking! The boat didn't have any lifeboats, so Peter grabbed a gun, bullets, gunpowder and a bag of corn, threw a barrel overboard, dived in after it, and swam to one of the Galapagos islands that was nearby, resting on the barrel when he was tired. Unluckily, it was uninhabited (nobody lived on it), but he at least survived the storm. Two and a half years later, he lived in a large cave, had a pet Galapagos hawk (a large, brown hawk breed. The main predator of the Galapagos islands) called Flyer and owned a large cornfield. Galapagos Hawk

Going Sailing

Last holiday my family & I went sailing. First we got on a small boat, and then sailed to a bigger one, which we sailed on for about an hour. I got a weird feeling that I sometimes get on airplanes when the boat went over the waves. I hope we go again sometime!
