Arctic Adventure, Chapter One

Aput woke up and fed his dogs, wolverine and gyrfalcon with some seal meat. Then he ate some reindeer meat and arctic term (bird) eggs, hitched his dogs to his sled, got in and went of to hunt seals. A few hours later he arrived at the seashore, and spotted a harp seal (kind of seal) swimming in the ocean. Quickly he shot it with his .400 rifle (large rife) and paddled out in the water in his kayak (boat) and towed it back to shore, where he cut it into chunks, fed some of them to his dogs, wolverine and gyrfalcon, then fitted the other chunks into boxes in his sled. Then he went home.

Galapagos Adventure, Introduction

Peter was going on a trip to the Galapagos islands (a group of islands about 2,600 miles away from America, famous for having many animals on it that only live there, such as the Galapagos tortoise and the Marine iguana). One night, he woke up in the midde of a storm, with his boat sinking! The boat didn't have any lifeboats, so Peter grabbed a gun, bullets, gunpowder and a bag of corn, threw a barrel overboard, dived in after it, and swam to one of the Galapagos islands that was nearby, resting on the barrel when he was tired. Unluckily, it was uninhabited (nobody lived on it), but he at least survived the storm. Two and a half years later, he lived in a large cave, had a pet Galapagos hawk (a large, brown hawk breed. The main predator of the Galapagos islands) called Flyer and owned a large cornfield. Galapagos Hawk

Going Sailing

Last holiday my family & I went sailing. First we got on a small boat, and then sailed to a bigger one, which we sailed on for about an hour. I got a weird feeling that I sometimes get on airplanes when the boat went over the waves. I hope we go again sometime!
