The Last Light

Evil. Fire. Death. Enshrouded in these menacing forces the dark wizard descended down on Athenbar, with darkness stretching out like the claws of an eagle. Soon Roland the Shadow Master, Roland the Ruthless' evil had begun to spread; crawling into every crack and crevice.

He offered a choice to those who survived his attack, to join him as his allies or to die. Much of the kingdom joined, some longing for power, some for wealth, some for fear, but there were some that day, though few in number, that stayed true to the light. Those people fled to the refuge of the woods.

There, people that had survived, or hidden on that fateful day, made their way to the hiding place. Over time, they created a kingdom of light, a refuge for the just, hidden from the wizard's sight. They established the city kingdom of Andar, the Last Light of the kingdom that had once been the greatest in that world.

Galapagos Adventure, Introduction

Peter was going on a trip to the Galapagos islands (a group of islands about 2,600 miles away from America, famous for having many animals on it that only live there, such as the Galapagos tortoise and the Marine iguana). One night, he woke up in the midde of a storm, with his boat sinking! The boat didn't have any lifeboats, so Peter grabbed a gun, bullets, gunpowder and a bag of corn, threw a barrel overboard, dived in after it, and swam to one of the Galapagos islands that was nearby, resting on the barrel when he was tired. Unluckily, it was uninhabited (nobody lived on it), but he at least survived the storm. Two and a half years later, he lived in a large cave, had a pet Galapagos hawk (a large, brown hawk breed. The main predator of the Galapagos islands) called Flyer and owned a large cornfield. Galapagos Hawk

Going Sailing

Last holiday my family & I went sailing. First we got on a small boat, and then sailed to a bigger one, which we sailed on for about an hour. I got a weird feeling that I sometimes get on airplanes when the boat went over the waves. I hope we go again sometime!
